  • What brought you to Fenix?

    • Fitness has always been a journey of mine. I grew up playing sports, spent a good decade running (my knees remind me of that often), and then I found Fenix Training. I have been a part of this gym family for about five years.

  • Favorite thing to do at Fenix?

    • Heavy weights and muscle are just a bonus because I enjoy coming to Fenix Training because of the people.

  • Favorite thing about coaching?

    • I love the people and the laughs.

  • Tell us about yourself:

    • I love our community and have spent most of my career focused in non-profit/community relations work, as well as being a small business owner. I love to help others create their favorite spaces.

  • What brought you to Fenix?

    • I have been working out with FENIX for 7 years now. I love the programing at FENIX, the atmosphere and most of all the camaraderie!

  • Favorite thing to do at Fenix?

    • Besides dance? I LOVE anything Kettlebell!! The Turkish Get Up is by far my most favorite kettlebell movement to do and to teach! I also love Kettlebell Snatches (WAY better than the ‘American’ Swing and Heavy Kettlebell Swings and deadlifts are by far my most favorite Barbell movement.

  • Favorite thing about coaching?

    • I love seeing the members grow in their strength, and when I give them a cue that works and they get that ‘a-ha’ moment and suddenly LOVE a movement or activity they initially hated. I also love the banter members have amongst each other, FENIX is truly like a family!

  • Tell us about yourself:

    • I am born and raised in Elko, a first generation Basque. I’ve been married to 20 years to the most amazing husband and together we have two beautiful, smart and amazing daughters. One is a freshman in college, and the other is a sophomore in high school.  We also have a fantastic border doodle named Oliver, who is my walking partner.  As a family we enjoy traveling, skiing, golfing and hiking. My hobbies are going to the gym, attending church and hanging out with my family.

  • What brought you to Fenix?

    • Natali--one random day she invited me to the gym she attended, and I never looked back.

  • Favorite thing to do at Fenix?

    • My favorite thing is spending an hour with my people doing what we love. The jokes and laughs never stop. Fitness wise anything with a barbell, but my all time favorite is a Split Jerk.

  • Favorite thing about coaching?

    • The best part about coaching is seeing a member make progress whether it's getting stronger or faster. Whatever it may be, the little personal wins will make you instantly smile.

  • Tell us about yourself.

    • My name is Daniela. I have been with Fenix Training for about 5 years. I am a full time working mom with 3 kids. We are everywhere from the gym to the soccer fields to being at home feeding our animals.

    • One thing I want everyone to know but especially to my fellow parents. Take an hour out of your day to do something for you. Build it into your daily schedule. Trust me your kids will not be mad at you. They will appreciate you and will start mocking what you do!

    • There is no perfect time to start; you don't have to "get fit" before coming to Fenix Training. Don't be embarrassed to walk through the doors. We are here to support your fitness journey!

  • What brought you to Fenix?

    • Four years ago I was ready for a change and a challenge and this is when I joined Fenix Training Gym.

  • Favorite thing to do at Fenix?

    • My favorite it core and arm/shoulder workouts. Core workouts can be very difficult, but this is one area my body needs the most work. I love arm and shoulder workouts because I see the transformation on my body that I am gaining upper body strength.

  • Favorite thing about coaching?

    • I have always liked helping others become the best version of themselves and enjoy being around like minded people.

  • Tell us about yourself.

    • My husband and I have a grown son that lives in Boise. He is married, and we hope to become grandparents soon. Our family enjoys the adrenaline of drag racing and motocross, as well spending time together hunting, traveling and attending concerts. I am getting ready to retire from a job I started in 1993, so I will be starting a new chapter in my life. I became a part-time coach a few months ago.

    •

  • Favorite thing about coaching?

    • I want to provide others with a chance to feel more confident about themselves starting with mobility and helping any joints or certain nagging areas. Routine mobility/stretching does wonders!

  • Tell us about yourself.

    • I just finished my 4 years at Greenville University in southern Illinois pursuing my education and athletics. I played at the NCAA Division 3 level and was a two-time all conference tight end. I will be graduating with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management with a Business Minor. I am wanting to give back to the community by helping young athletes pursue their dreams while also helping the public crush goals! Let me know when you want to take the first step to connect and crush goals!

  • What brought you to Fenix?

    • I've spent over a decade in the fitness world but the last few years with Fenix. After undergoing multiple foot/knees surgeries, I found myself back at square one. I needed to regain my mobility, reduce daily pain and slowly restore the strength. That's when I contacted Alana to help me rebuild my foundation.

  • Favorite thing to do at Fenix?

    • My favorite part of fitness is being constantly challenged. I love pushing past my limits to see what I'm truly capable of, whether it's building strength, increasing speed, or mastering a new skill.

  • Favorite thing about coaching?

    • I like being a part of the fitness world because I get to see members gain confidence through breakthrough moments.

  • Tell us about yourself.

    • I was born in India and raised in the US. I have spent years navigating the fast-paced hotel industry alongside my family while maintaining a fulfilling full-time job. My true passion, however, lies in supporting those through post-recovery. Having experienced the weight of physical limitations firsthand, I am dedicated to showing others that recovery is a steady journey, not a race. I am certified as CF-L1.
